July 2010 Meeting   The July 2010  IPMS St. Louis meeting was held on Tue., 6 July 2010 at Thornhill Branch Library.  Ten members were in attendance.    After calling the meeting to order, President Bob Delaney made a few short announcements, including membership renewals (Bob Saxton processed those), and nominations and elections for 2010-11 club officers. All 2009-10 officers were retained by acclaimation. (President: Bob Delaney; Vice President: Vern Hines; Treasurer/Secretary: Bob Saxton; Directors: Mike Burke, Brad Parker, and Bob Gerhardt. Mike Burke was not in attendance at the meeting, so was voted into office in abstencia.   Vern Hines brought in his Revell Plymouth Hemi Drag Engine model, Brad Parker brought in his 1:35 diorama of British troops and vehicles (Sherman, Universal Carrier, Jeep) in Europe in World War II. Alec Miller (son of Jason, grandson of Del) brought in his completed Pegasus 1:48 Hurricane Mk I. Bob Delaney brought in the ICM 1:72 ZiL-157 fuel truck in progress.   After elections, Del Miller presented the DVD "F.A.Q.: the pigments, Vol. 1" by Night Vision Creations (costs about $24.95 from Sprue Brothers). This video showed how to apply MIG Pigments onto armor models to realistically show mud, worn metal, rust and smoke. The DVD was not formatted for US TV viewing, so Del played it on his laptop computer.                 Our next meeting is Tuesday, August 3rd at Thornhill Branch Library.   See you then!   Bob Delaney, President
